Oula Peñate Medina, (Ph.D.)

Senior Partner and Advisor

in Imaging, Drug Development and Life Science Sector Business Models

Senior Manager Mr. Peñate Medina (b. 1971) works for Replicon as a business development consultant and senior advisor in Life Science sector. On top of his managerial experience in drug development and health care imaging sectors, Mr. Peñate Medina has some 10 years of research experience of the delivery and targeting systems of various biological compounds in vivo.

From Srping 2007 onwards Oula is mostly located in USA / New York.

First he was a researcher at the University of Helsinki 1996-2001 and then Mr. Peñate Medina acted as the CEO of the CTT Cancer Targeting Technologies Ltd (2001-2005) and CTO (2005-2006). He has PhD, in biochemistry (2004 Univ. of Helsinki) and business administration training from Spinno Program of the University of Helsinki.

Mr. Peñate Medina is a Board member of The Centre of Expertise of Gene Technology and gene delivery devices. He has also acted as a Project reviewer for the Netherlands Technology Molecular Biology of Finland and Advisory board member of TEKES (the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation) projects NMR in drug development and Viruses as drug Foundation STW.
