Financial Planning

Starting point in financial planning is the identification of future cash flows and current cash and other financial resources. These cash flows are based on current financial statements and business plan of the company. Financial planning can include:

- defining financial needs
- calculating the expected costs of various financing possibilities
- minimizing the expected costs of financing
  - financial instrument selection
  - structuring financial rounds and defining targets for further financing
  - identifying suitable types of financiers
  - optimizing the cost-risk –ratio of financing
- out-of-the-box -solutions

With the assistance of our professionals, entrepreneurs will be in a better position to negotiate an investment structure that meets the goals of both the VC’s and the management. The equity investments we structure for our clients interface with our other corporate finance solutions (i.e. project valuations, business model development, management equity related incentive schemes, vesting arrangements and ratchet agreements). This flexibility enables us to consider diverse opportunities for our clients as well as structure truly integrated solutions.
