Tero Silvola, MSc(Econ.)

Tero Silvola is the CEO of Helsingin Lääkärikeskus Oy (since early 2010). Helsingin Lääkärikeskus is one of the biggest private health care groups in Finland.

Before Helsingin Lääkäriikeskus appointment Mr. Tero Silvola has been over 10 years in various fast growing software and telecommunication businesses. Silvola´s career expertise ranges from growth oriented, cross border M&A arrangements to general management, sales, marketing and business development in software of various fields. Until September 2009 Tero worked as the CEO of Mawell Ltd. Silvola is a founder of the company and continues as an advisor in Mawell, which is a market leader company in the healthcare interoperability software in North Europe.

Prior to Mawell Mr. Silvola held several positions in Nokia and other software companies like QPR Software Ltd. Within Nokia he worked both in factory operations and in sales in different countries including Italy, Spain, Portugal, Israel and Greece.

Mr. Silvola contributes to the national healthcare development in different board positions like the Federation of Finnish Healthcare Technology Industries (Fihta) or Nexamed Oy, which is a fast growing healthcare software company in Nordics.
